I asked that question because of Acts 15. In that amazing story, the early church dismissed the ritualistic law as a binding force on the Christian community. But the church did not dismiss naming a form of life that reflects true gospel living. The early council affirmed that there are practices to be avoided, namely practices related to idol worship. It's important to follow the logic here: the council did not impose new ritualistic regulations on the Gentiles, rather they wanted to makes sure the Gentiles understood that they have been set free from the gods of the market and the gods of the state to serve the one true God of Israel (cf. 1 Thess. 1).
In light of this text, What would be wrong with us embracing practices that help us stay true to God--even if those practices are somewhat specific to our context? If we have truly tasted the goodness of God, what would be wrong with saying here are some structures that enable us to live in that goodness?
I can't think of anything that would be wrong with that. Can you? The next question is then, What practices should we embrace? What type of structure do we need? What do you think?
Peace.

How can we NOT put God in a box?
How is it possible to live our promises to be true to God?
Is it vanity to think we can strengthen what God has wrought?
Thus saith The Lord: "I am The Lord, that Is My Name; My Glory I give to no other nor My Praise to idols".
How does one begin to think or react or proceed when considering this Truth?
The knowledge of God that we collectively have available to us, as children of men, is from His Word, His Spirit, His People.
We, as fallen souls, become aware of our position (in the fragment/sliver of time that we have to live) as we attempt to relate to The God of Creation.
We see, in His Word, how mankind has not done very well (to be kind) Listening/Hearing/,and or Keeping/ our eyes/focus/attention/will/ on The Mark of His Commandments/Law/Word/Testimony/Precepts/Ordinances/Light/Life/ ie: Agreeing to love/obey/follow/adore/commit/ to him with All our heart All our mind All our soul. "Oh Lord, if thou dist mark iniquity who could stand?!?" Thanks be To God Our Saviour who became flesh and was obedient to The Will Of The Father so as to be cursed and condemned to death for mankind's sins/transgressions/iniquities/ Prooving That "There is forgiveness with thee that thou mayest be feard".
Therfore, it is my reconing that we (Our Church), whom are individually responsible to The Maker of All Things, keep our attention Upon The Object of Our Faith Christ Jesus when we practice whatever methodology of worship we are lead (by God) to ascribe to.
Search the scriptures for key elements of methodology. ie: "Sing unto The Lord A New Song"; "Remember His Mighty Works" are two of many, many elements we should consider in our worship of The Lord Of Hosts King Of Glory God Almighty!
Lord Lead Us, By Thy Hand Lead Us, For Your Glory Lead Us! For Your Kingdom Lead Us!
Thank you for the leadership and members of Your Church Body here @ Christ Community. Empower Us All in Your Holy Spirit to Worship You In Spirit and Truth Lord Jesus!
Amen.
What can go wrong on our practices? If we keep it about God there is nothing that can go wrong, if it became about us, everything can go worng. We need to keep watching that it will not become about us.
